Hi All,

I might be posted to Brisbane for six months :) and have had a fleeting idea of bringing my P38.

OK, don't shout, I know it is not a good idea, but what would I be up against to either use it as a tourist or to register it in Queensland?

I've heard something about the Australian Design Rules .....

The vehicle is SA spec - no cats, low compression .... RHD.

Any input welcome.

As I understand it you have to go silly in getting it cleaned - they won't like dust from dirt roads on it anywhere.

Despite the fact that the entire Aussie agricultural industry is 100% reliant on the African Dung Beetle.

What rubbish.. The cane toads ate all those pesky beetles years ago.. And the drop bears keep killing the tourists

...and while the tourists are looking upwards for the drop bears, the grass gators lop them off at the knees `)

Spiggy, for a six month posting to Oz I'd buy a cheap 2nd hand Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon as a run-around, or dare I say it... an 80 Series LandCruiser 8-0= At least you'll appreciate your P38A when you go back home.

Cheers, Paul.
