I’m looking at buying my first Range Rover it’s a 2016 full body size supercharged V8. It has 47,000 miles so if it has a warranty it’s about up. I’ve owned an Audi A7, BMW X5, Cadillac Escalade, CTS V all without warranties they were pretty reliable made a few repairs but nothing too bad.

I don’t mind paying for repairs out of pocket what can I expect to pay at a Indy shop per year on average.

Is this car unreliable I plan on keeping it for 30k-50k miles before getting a 2019-2020 g63.

I would highly recommend a warranty!

I would get a detailed pre purchase inspection and have any issues fixes while its still under warranty. Then maybe get an aftermarket warranty while its still covered by the factory. I havent read any wide spread catastrophic issues with this model.

WARRANTY - Definitely... RR is awesome but they either have problems when new or after 50k.
The parts and labor aren't cheap so you will quickly get your warranty money back.
