Debating whether to buy a 2014 RR or buying a nice used 2012 Lux with 17k miles on it here locally. I've had a 2006 and 2010 RRover, currently driving a F150 platinum. I just can't seem to warm up to the new styling, I like the old look better, and the higher price doesn't help either. I'm sure the new one is better in every way than the old one. Tell me why I shouldn't shell out $63k for this 2012 I'm looking at and buy a new one instead.

Can't, I'm with you... get the 2012 they are beautiful. I Really don't like the look of the Mk IV model either... The 12 has the depreciation and is the pinnacle of the MK III breed with all the best genes. Lux to boot! Geez, why think about it? Best of luck.

I would grab the 2014, you might not the way it looks now but maybe you'll grow into it. but you can't go wrong with a 2012 either which is like the above post the pinnacle of the markIII.
