Aaron, how is 19A working for you? 18D is HORRIBLE and full of bugs.
19A is working great, I've had no issues. It's kind of slow to boot-up and be able to switch audio sources, but I think all the versions have been like that. Honestly, I didn't have any issues with 18D (which was only installed for a few weeks before they upgraded me to 19A without me even asking for it). Both versions are a big improvement over 18C, which was horrible for me.Aaron, how is 19A working for you? 18D is HORRIBLE and full of bugs.
Has anyone of you with 19A noticed this, whatever it means?"The camera image is not displaying as smoothly as it should be, this is currently under investigation and should be fixed in the next full software release."
So, on 18D, I noticed that a lot of the weird software behavior was related to my installed SIM card ( not always connecting to the network, not always providing Wi-Fi). When I turned off the transmitted Wi-Fi from the rover, it stopped rebooting. It hasn’t rebooted for weeks. Just a thought for anyone who’s having infotainment reboot issues. Maybe, turn off the rover transmitted Wi-Fi. Definitely worked for me.So, does anybody know the newest version of the Infotainment software? I have an early 18D version and still have reboot issues. Also, has anybody successfully done an over the air update?

The 19A update is getting pretty good reviews so far on the L405 forum. Seems to fix a lot of issues people have been having over there. So, on 18D, I noticed that a lot of the weird software behavior was related to my installed SIM card ( not always connecting to the network, not always providing Wi-Fi). Yes, fair point and completely agree, but JLR needs to ensure that the hardware is good enough to power those systems. Right now CarPlay feels like it's running on the first version of the iPhone. Extremely slow, low resolution, and therefor buggy.I don’t even want them to try. Just give up and put in wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Apple and Google do this much better than any in-car system ever will.

I agree! On my 2018 RRS with the newest software, CarPlay is fast, responsive, and works great. Resolution of the screen looks good to me as well. I have not had any software issues in more than a month.CarPlay runs better than the native system in my experience.
