OK a little more info... the console switch will now only put the window down. The key method still closes the window. New switch???
Broken window switch?
Hi again everyone. The front passenger window in my 96 HSE would not go up today. I used the key in the drivers door to activate the "all up" feature and the window went up again. Could this mean that the switch on the console is bad??

The switch could just be dirty or have a loose connection try removing the switch pack and cleaning it with some electrical contact cleaner, then start inside the door checking and cleaning all the connections between the window motor and the switch
