Just looked in the parking lot and saw my car with its brake-lights on

I quickly checked if the car started (which thank god still did), pressed the brakepedal, and checked if the lights were off (when i stepped out  ) switched the car off and noticed that the brake lights had gone out

It has been raining a lot here and had the car yesterday going through the carwash

It could be that there has been some water going through some seals and just made contact

I'm not happy about this, which means that tonight i will have to check that the brake lights stay off, or I will have a flat battery in the morning

Anybody else had this problem
