This morning, when I shut my vehicle off, my brake booster pump did not shut off. It sounded like it had probably been on and running my whole commute to work. I had to go into work, so I just pulled the plug on it. Has anyone ever experienced this? What could be causing it?

A few times in the past, when I start the engine, the booster would not start running, and I would have to cycle the ignition a couple times until I heard it run. I am not sure if the incidents are related.

The Relay has probably failed. It is under the driver's seat. Remove the rail cover on the door side of the seat. You will see three relays there. I believe it is the black one in the middle. Get a new relay. For a temp fix I think you can use the black relay next to it until you get a replace. I can't remember what you are disabling doing the swap. But it is only temporary.
