Well we just placed our order for a new BMW X6 and are dedicating our 2008 White Range Rover full time off road use.

We are wanting to put a full body wrap on it with logo, but can not decide on what color to go with. We want one or two solid colors. Flat white and flat black.

Now the questions is,
Do we go all flat white and just the hood and roof in flat black or the other way around?

What are your thoughts?

What is the purpose of the body wrap? To protect the body from branches? When you say, full time off road use, does that mean winch, bumpers, skid plates, sliders and lockers?

I have been on a trail several times over the years, with a guy that took a brand new 03 and fully kitted it out with a custom winch bumper, rear bumper, skid plates, sliders and all the other off-road gear. They used the truck and it did very well.

The purpose of the body wrap would mostly be for looks and logo. It might help for some sort of protection from small branches, but damage is forth coming as with any off road suv. Our 04 Range Rover had the best pen stripping around from a few trips in the Colorado mountians.

For advertising purposes the white body would be easier to keep clean and would show far less scratching from trail use. The white body and black roof would also give a lower profile to your look. However the black roof is going to absorb much more heat.
