just got news my upolsterer broke off a key in the ignition of my 88. stuff happoens, no big deal. But are those blanks readily available - or an I about to set off on a search for unobtanium? I want to get a spare made before my lone remaining key goes by by as well!

Keys readily available at key shops
Just ask for Land Rover key
Not Range Rover key
They will get lost
But these keys are thin and break after a while
Look on eBay
You can get Range Rover key blanks
Kinda pricy
I pain like 30$
For two
But they are
Beefy
So maybe get a cheepy to get you by
And order original planks later

You can buy Land Rover spares for way too much money on Ebay, or if you have a few days spare you buy them in the UK and have them sent over, they are a few dollars there for the real thing and shipping is cheap.

This is exactly true. Got mine from a UK seller on eBay, cost $14 for two with shipping and I got them in 8 days. Went to my neighborhood ACE Hardware and they cut them for free
