Hi,
My diesel RR 's BECM is AMR5824, Highline. I have seen BECM of petrol ones with same part no.
Can I replace my BEMC with a petrol one with same part no?

thanks in advance for your views.

Yes you can. The BeCM is the Body electrical Control Module, so not engine specific.

Though you will obviously need to reprogram it to your vehicle settings.

What's the purpose behind wanting to replace it?

Since, some time back I got fuse 10 & 13 failed message but the fuses are ok.
Now ( having a new fuse box about a month ago) my ABS pump works intermittently.
Fog lights stopped working about 3 months back(fitted by PO with genuine wiring harness and switches). checked and found the BECM gives no output. So my guess is BECM giving up one by one items. I know need to change only the power board but worried about petrol diesel differences, if any.

In that case, if it is just swapping the power board over, then yes - they are interchangeable.

All the programming/settings for the vehicle are held on the logic board. The power board is just controlled by the logic board to handle the high power things via the relays/MOSFETs etc.

Marty is right as usual .
Just one hint.. put a few bags of silica gel or dry rice if you can't get hold of silica in the becm, above the power board, stuck to the lid.
I am guessing your climate is the same as mine.
