Hi all
Just a quick one really, my vehicle unfortunately did the classic losing it's becm to ecm security code yesterday for the second time in it's life!
First time a few years ago it was down to the alarm reciever battery drain issue and I changed the reciever for the new one. But yesterday I took it out first thing in the morning, came back an hour later, mowed the car to the otherside of the drive, then ten minutes later it wouldn't start. So not an issue with battery drain causing it to go screwy? anyone known of them just doing it out of the blue? I'm wondering if it may be a fuse box issue, if a bad connection in there has caused a bad supply to the Becm and thus been like a battery going flat. Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this happening other through a flat battery? Unfortunately the local guy who was kitted with autologic has since moved so I have ordered a sync mate but due to the fact that it will be coming cyprus of course it's at the main stealer as I need the car working this weekend.

Yes mine did the same thing (also in Hampshire!).Had to remove the BECM and send to Callrova for unlocking and reprogramming. The BECM went into an alarmed state and Autologic(probably from the same chap you are refering too) was unable to access the BECM to do anyth  ing to help.It needed the specialist software module from Blackbox to sort it out.
