Hi Everyone,

I have a weird noise coming from the car usually when I’m driving above about 30mph. It’s hard to explain what kind of noise it is, but to me it seems like bearing are bad. The dealer is telling me that the tire threads are not aligned, but the tires are in good condition. He said it’s not bearing it’s just tires. Has anyone else seen this kind of an issue with tire threads?

I have 2017 RRS diesel.

Thanks for the help.

Threads or treads? If you have belt separating in one of your tires it can make a growling sound BUT you would have a shimmy in that tire and the tread shift hits the road. I seriously doubt this is the case though.

What tires and how many miles? We replaced the stock Mich SummerSport tires with the Pirelli Verde all season tires. After about 25-28k miles, the Pirelli's have developed a rather loud road humm...somewhat consistent with some of the reviews on tire rack.....we are having them replaced next week.
