hi all, i checked the dealership feedback thread and didn't see much (except my own post). i am wondering if any bay area folks can discuss british motor cars in SF vs. land rover of marin? just curious about service experience(s) with both or either. need to decide which one to make my primary point of contact for service. i bought from bmc, but both are equally convenient. thanks.

I also purchased from BMCD this past year and my first experience was great. i wasn't able to pick up my vehicle on a Friday and the service manager met me on a Saturday so I can retrieve my vehicle since the service departments are closed on weekends. Next week I scheduled my next appt with Land Rover San Jose since I am closer to this location than SF.

I use Land Rover Marin, and have been very happy (and I live in SF). The staff is great (Fred is awesome).

i can't speak from first hand experience, but i've heard good things about marin like nick says. that's not necessarily saying anything bad about BMC. i just haven't heard anything either way about their service department. for anything you need to cover out of pocket or when you're out of warranty, hands down the best place in the bay area is cerrone's european in redwood city.

BMCD is great. i have used them for several years. Never a problem and they have gone out of their way to satsify me on issues where they could have been less customer service oriented and still within their rights if they had wanted to. Instead they made sure I was satsified. They also give loaners or a ride to / from work in SF (I didnt buy the RRS there).
