Battery light came on

Battery light came on after driving for 3 miles or so. However, when I parked the car and started it again, the light was off. I have used a battery/ alternator testor on the battery and the readings are as follows: Battery (while engine is off) 12.5V Alternator (while engine is on and idling) 13.5V Does it mean the alternator is malfunctioning when it's up to working temperature? Or it's simply a sensor problem? Vehicle details: 2008 5.0 Supercharged Overfinch

I'd prefer a proper multimeter reading and also a reading at 2000rpm having said that both readings are low, should be 14 something with the engine running and 13 without
