My battery light came on (Solid Red) so I had the car checked. Test report stated Charging System Problem. I installed a re-man alternator(Proline). After installing, my battery light blinks. Diagnostics stated battery draw and the alternator is only putting out 13.6v. Could it be that the re-man alternator I installed is faulty.

I had an issue with a Proline reman alt in the past. I had installed one and it lasted about 1200 miles and burned out, i replaced it with another oneunder wtty which is still working, about 3k miles later. I am assuming (hoping) that the first one was just faulty and i happened to get a bad one?
