Still trying to get to the bottom of battery drain on this p38 petrol 4.0 v8,
flat again over night on old battery, i now have a new Battery to fit .
but i have tested with a bulb to neg terminal wire and neg post and its lights up all time indicating battery drain,
After removing one at a time all the fuses under bonnet including relays, also removing one a time fuses under drivers seat on becm including all plugs on this becm including plugs under pass seat on transmision module

BUT THERES STILL MY TEST BULB LIGHTING UP with battery drain

Really need to eliminate the mysterious drain, otherwise will take take down my new battery too
In addition had sil covers off both sides , however , drivers side had water in main wire loom channel , dryed out channel runner and all main exposed loom wiring thats runs in it. Going to pull radio out tomorrow to see anything exposed etc?
Any pointers absoultly miffed what to do next?:?:

I have heard that the alarm can drain the battery especially if something nearby keeps waking the alarm up,like another RR or a weather station, the previous owner of my RR had his alarm box changed for the later one as his neighbours home weather station interfered with his alarm...just a thought
