Hi chaps - following the very cold and snowy weather in the UK this week and a week off the road, I want to charge the Rangie's battery before restarting.
Having had to mess with the EKA access last year, I'd rather not disconnect the battery - hence my question:

Is it safe to connect the battery charger while the battery is still connected to the car?

Cheers.

HI i,ve used a starter charge on mine with no problems and give the battery on hell of a whack so i could,nt see a problem with a charger especially if it was a smart charger .

Thanks for all the replies - I'll connect the smart charger tomorrow - hopefully get the RR back on the road this week. My Series III 88' Landy has been fabulous in the snow here, but I'm fed up with being cold!

Cheers.
