Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has an idea of what kind of automatic transmission with sport mode/triptonic type would fit together with the 4.0 V8, I have successfully installed this engine in my landrover 90, I have a 4 speed manual fitted but I would like a triptonic transmission, any help will be greatly appreciated
I will also upload all the pictures for this project

your best source of info may be ashcroft transmissions, drop them a line. you will need a different ecu than that of a zf and who knows what else. my financial guess over $10K in parts.

Defender 50th uses a 4.0 V8 mated to a ZF box, as did the NAS - why not copy that spec?

My 50th has a ZF4HP22, not that it's tiptronic, personally I don't care, it's a brilliant drive
