I noticed that both side mirrors are hot on my 08 RRS. Are they supposed to stay heated? Is there an on/off switch?
I just replaced the drivers side mirror. Could this be occurring as a result of reconnecting the wires incorrectly?

rxis,
When you first start the vehicle (or key on) the mirror heaters will be active. They are controlled by the HVAC control module which rely's on an ambient temperature input for the "on" time. (modulation). Your mirrors are probably working as designed. There is not a switch to deactivate them, but you could always pull fuse 16 (10amp) in the engine compartment fuse box to shut them down. ibis1 ;) As for the two wires, you can connect them either way, it will not affect the function.
