Yes, download your map data updates from https://landrover.here.com.

1. Go to https://landrover.here.com
* I'm already registered and added my vehicle VIN, so it knows my car

2. Click Maps and Services tab at the top

3. For our 2018 SVR it shows me:

North America Map + Services Subscription - 1 Year
Version Number: 08.030.0098.0153
Entitles the subscriber to monthly map updates for the duration of the subscription.
This product includes a connected service subscription and will extend any current active subscription.
Update includes most recent changes to the road network and static speed cameras.*
*United States of America only.
Subscription Expires:
2022-08-28

Has anyone else been able to download the latest map updates on the landrover.here.com website?

Tried a few times today/tonight and using various browsers/cleared cache data and even restarted computer...

but still getting an error when I click on the "Download Maps" button (next to the latest map version listed available on there)
Latest version available:08.030.0107.0158

It will pop up something like "The site is trying to open URL:Map Downloader Protocol" at the top of my browser (tested on both Edge and Chrome) and if I click "open" button...

nothing happens at all...the pop up goes away but nothing else gets downloaded nor do any apps on my laptop open either??

And I've downloaded the updated map versions successfully in the past using this laptop too...

Thanks!!

If you downloaded the installer before, just run the installer from your computer. I think if the installer already exist, it tries to open it, but depending on the OS and your security settings, it might not launch properly. Just launch the Offline installer app to have it download the newer maps.

Issues with macOS Catalina. the Mac OS offline installer is not opening, you might have to turn off SIP for it to run (new security features).

I downloaded the latest maps yesterday from the site and it went fine. Download seemed to be slower than usual (took 30 minutes or so on a 1 Gbps FiOS connection) but I let it run in the background while doing other stuff.

I have a different problem - the download tool for Mac that I got from the here.com site is coming up as malware on my MacBook, so I can't even install it...

This has been an ongoing headache, but was figured out on one of the Apple Community boards. If you have the latest software Catalina, you have to use an older version of the Land Rover Map Updater.

I started looking for older versions.... and went back a few steps to this one that worked
https://download.vcdn.data.here.com/p/d/mapdownloader/MapDownloader_installer_mac_offline_1_3_0.dmg

note: it gives the usual warning that means you have to go to your 'security and privacy' window and allow it to run. It then installed OK.
