Any good source for HVAC 1.2w bulbs?

So, 2 of my lightbulbs on my HVAC display went out as I was fixing the HVAC pixel display problem.

HVAC display is good as new now, but now the 2 lightbulbs went out and causing darkspots on the buttons.

I went searching for the Osram bulbs. Apparently, these bulbs are bulb/plastic combo, and costs around $5 USD. Instead, I went looking for 1.2w bulbs w/ long leads, so I can just replace the bulb.

However, it''s been almost impossible to find these 12v 1.2w bulbs. Any idea where I can find them?

Thanks

Dealer. This is about the only thing i suggest going to them for, cheap and immediately available.
To call a dealership kinda feels like conceit of defeat, but I guess I'll give them a call to see what kinda price they'll come back with.
I get my bulbs from www.consumabulbs.com

They are pretty good and ship as well
Atlantic British has the proper replcements for $1.95. Osram replacements are $0.89 at Autohaus.
I got my generic bulbs at autozone, still going after 3 years. it's a bit fiddly to solder them in there, but once done it's done.
Thanks for all the feedback.

I tried looking for the bulbs, but couldn't find any, so in the end I decided to stop by a local indie. Felt kinda bad just buying couple of lightbulbs, but it sure was nice to get them right away.

Come to think of it, I did the same thing couple years ago when my instrument binnacle light went out. Infact, went to the same indie that time as well.
Purchased mine from AB - got them in about 2 days. They have the correct parts with the plastic holders. I didnt' feel like making it a more difficult job than necessary so I went that route.

About an easy installation as there is once you get the unit out.
should the manual air control buttons at the bottom of the HVAC controller be backlit at night?, mine are not and impossible to find in the dark.

Its easier to ask a dum question than remove the unit to find out - sorry!!

Yup, it's supposed to be lit up. Sounds like you have a lightbulb that's out. It's a bit of a hassle taking all the panels out, but it really isn't too hard to do.

If you can find the 1.2w bulbs, then this job will be easy. In fact, if you're in UK, check out the reference for a lightbulb source in the above post.
Thanks, i'll pull it out and see whats what. these are freely available in UK fortunately, they also appear of the fleabay occasionaly
