so i walked out to my car this morning to see antifreeze on the ground under my 87 rrc but its not under the motor or the radiator its under the tranny... i dunno even know where to begin? thanks in advance

The location of the drip/puddle is not always a good indicator of the source of the leak. Fluids can run down tubes/engine/tranny parts, and end up a long way from where they started.
You'll need to track the leak back to its source, and take it from there.

well i think i traced it... i think it either the heater core hoses or the heater core it self... but not to sure about the heater core because the carpet inside was dry so we will see

Make sure the expansion tank is topped up, then run the engine up to operating temperature. Have a look at the coolant hoses behind the plenum chamber, and see if you find your leak there.
If there is anything more that a squirt, shut your engine down, don't want to run it with low coolant.
