I hear you.Goinkin said:Not feeling them. I have yet to see any aftermarket wheels look better than the top of the line OEM wheels.

Are you getting the C5 1 reps? If so, where from?SpencerS said::thumb:BWB RRS HSE said:Rinspeed Replicas - no decision to think about at all. A wheel on our RRS's needs to show the lugnuts.....

Too late.pimpn04coupe said:imo, I would normally stay away from one piece cast wheels. However, I would definitely make an exception for rinspeeds since they look so good on our rovers. But replicas??? I would stay as far away as possible from them- those are the worst of the worst quality wheels one can get. I would hold out a while, there are some fantastic deals on great sets of quality wheels from time to time...
I will, i'll post pics too.lakbum said:Keep us posted when you receive them. Kinda curious about the quality and if there's any serious effect on the ride.
Remember that all wheels need to be DOT approved like tires so you won't be sold absolute crap. Will it be the nicest quality billet aluminum wheel? Probably not, but structurally you should be fine, so long as the load rating is appropriate.SpencerS said:I will, i'll post pics too.lakbum said:Keep us posted when you receive them. I was a bit concerend on quality, but from what I have read and spoke to dealers about, they seem to be pretty solid. I mean I am sure there's a bad batch of wheels here and there but come on, we are Land Rover owners, we didn't read the consumer reports
My sentiments exactly. Not in the position to drop $5K+ on new ones, let alone since the RRS is now my wife's car/baby mover, so I wasn't looking to get anything too crazy.Ukraine Range said:Remember that all wheels need to be DOT approved like tires so you won't be sold absolute crap. With wheels (as with most things in life), you get what you pay for. Doesn't mean that a cheaper wheel is crap, it just means to lower your expectations a little bit but I wouldn't expect them to flake or crack.
