US driver's side on my 2006 RR Sport. I've searched this site (and others) and have done all the recommended fixes. And, I still have water on the driver's side floor. Also, this only happens when it rains, so I don't suspect that it's the A/C drain lines, although I am gonna crawl under there and clear them as well.
I have run new hoses down the A-pillar all the way through the drain hole behind the side trim, switched the A-pillar trim and sealed the plastic clips (I also plugged the hole the broken guide post would go in).
There is no water coming in the passenger side, but I rigged a shield for my fresh air intake under the passenger-side cowling also for preventive measures.
I have a new cowling ordered (mine is warped)...could this be the source of my wet floors? Also, it appears that under my warped cowling (under the wiper motor), there are large gaps where body panels meet. Should those have been caulked at the factory? The passenger side is one piece (caulked where the fresh air intake is) but the driver side is not--perhaps spot welded?
I can't imagine a warped cowling would get the floor that wet as a new one is not gonna be water tight with only those flimsy clips that break off if you sneeze on them in the car wash.
The only thing I can think it might be is a leaking windshield, but replacing that is obviously the last resort.
Thanks in advance!
