Hi been loitering for a while since I got my 1998 4.6 ltd Ed in May 2009. This is my 1st Rangy and what a lovely car it is too!! Had fun in it this winter going places where normal cars and 4x4 get stuck, playing empty carpark in the snow and ice, did see 7MPG on the dash!!! That V8 does sound nice whilst drifting :thumb:

It has done 130,000 and been converted to run on LPG which makes it nearly expensive to run!!!

Had a problem for the last 10 day where the book symbol came up on heater which thanks to this forum I traced to the de-mister flap stuck and the windscreen washer's packed up at the same time and then today the Rangy fixed itself of both problems... WTF????

Only prob is whilst trying too see if the washer jet was blocked or the washer pump was knackered I was pulling the pipe off the back of the jet and bust the spigot on the jet...ARGGHHHHH

Anyway here is a pic of my Rangy...

Cheers

Jolly Giant.. 6ft 6inch tall and very jolly most of the time......With a good old dry British sense of humor!!

The jets are dirt cheap. I would recommend ordering the "gasket" they plug into as well. Be careful when ordering as there are two different types of washers.

The cheque book symbol could just be a relay connection getting corroded. I would pull all of your relays and give them a good wiggle or even a full cleaning on the contacts. Hopefully it's not your blend motors going out. :?

Lots of new faces this week. Glad to see that.

Great looking rig also. Looks brand new. :thumb:
Kind of looking like P38's are replacing socks as Christmas gifts huh?

I'm from Norfolk.

The previous owner had it for 8yrs and loved it to bits did all his own maintenance and kept in a all round A1 condition!!

I even have the microfische files to go with it but no way of reading them!!

Every recipt he had too even the one he got for the hand made mats in it at £95 :D

So I'm going to try and keep it the same but I have a lot to learn about Rangy's as my mechanical knowledge of normal car's and bikes is good, but I don't have a clue about air shock's, blend flaps and general Rangy systems but I have a feeling before long I will do??

Thanks for the warm welcome.
