Please help. 2000 P38 4.0SE :Harmon Kardon system. I have looked all over for the DSP amp. It is not behind the sub woofer. It is not in the sub woofer. I do have amp in each door and on the outside of the sub woofer. No DSP amp. I did find a blue box AMR6288 AM/FM/DIV-amplifier on the side with the sub. I found a Blue box AMR6289 FM Amplifier and a black box PA 6 gf 30. Did these replace the DSP amp? The radio works in another 2000 p38. The lights come on in mine but no sound.

Hi,

no, those boxes aren't the DSP.

As a matter of fact, the DSP replaces all four door amps. So, If you've got door amps, you shouldn't be able to find the DSP... as there isn't one. Plus, the I think SE models didn't came with premium sound package (DSP).

I suggest you check the Electical Troubleshooting Manual in Rave. There are detailed schematics for all audio configs.

PA 6 GF 30 is the material the box is made from:

Poly-amide (plastic), Glass fiber 30%
Funniest thing I have heard in a long long while

Thank you for your help. I thought I was going crazy. I looked the little black box up and found the same thing. It is located on the right passenger side and has 2 wires plugged into it. Ok my radio still has no sound. I cannot believe that all 5 amps are bad at once. Any hints from here?
