I want to have a hotspot in my car but I don't travel distances that are long enough to fully re-charge the hotspot device. So after a few days in the car the device ends up dying. Are any of the cigarette lighter connector always on? Or do all turn off with the car?

If they all turn off, would creating a direct connection to the battery for an always-on connection drain the battery? Typically, I drive my car three or four times daily with short trips of about 2-4 miles each. Once or twice a week I do a longer drive of about 10 miles each way.

Thanks in advance for your opinions!
