When installing/refitting the frontcover the manual states : Do not use any other type of grease. Shell Retinax LX that is.
It is very difficult to find out who sells this particular kind of grease.

Does anyone know a good equivalent to the Shell type.?

Regards, Olav

Search for the technical sheet for the Shell product http://www.shell.com/static/global/downloads/brochures/product_flyer_retinax_lx.pdf and then call a couple of local suppliers. Simon or Guy at Opie Oils here in the UK can usually help match a product to another. They list the Fuchs Renolit LX EP 2 which you may find a close match? Otherwise PM me and I will call one of the technical boffins at Morris Lubricants.
