How do I stop the alarm from going off when I lock the car and my dog is in there?
Is there a way to turn the internal alarm off?

Thanks!

Pages 12, 13 and 16 of your owners handbook. By locking the car you automatically set the interior movement sensing so the dog moving about will set the alarm off. If you press the lock button on the fob once, it superlocks the doors and enables the interior movement sensing, Press it twice and it superlocks the doors but does not enable the interior movement sensing. Oddly, the handbook says to disable interior protection if people or animals are to be be left in the vehicle but it also says not to superlock if people will be in the vehicle as they won't be able to get out if they need to. So, I suppose it is saying if there is somebody in the car, don't lock it......

Brilliant solution Neil haha.

Figured that if you push the lock button twice it disarms the internal alarm.
