Have they already checked the wiring between airbag module and rotary coupler in the steering wheel? On early model years especially (2005-2006 LR3 and Sport) that wire would sometimes fracture due to friction, triggering the airbag warning light in the IC. In fact, at least here in the US there was a recall issued about that problem back in 2008. Mine was one of those affected and the airbag light did light up, requiring the recall repair. What model year is yours?
