Air Suspension Struts - ‘13 RRS

360 Views 8 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  NoExpert
My 2013 Range Rover Sport HSE Lux front sags overnight. I replaced the front valve block with OEM, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the bags are toast.

I know Arnott is a great choice. But with my vehicle having many miles I don’t want to spend much.

Anyone have experience with Maxspeeding Rods Air Struts?

Any other affordable recommendations would be great.

Does it have VDS struts? If so, and you want to stay on the cheap, just replace the airbags with the above mentioned Dunlops.

No it doesn’t have VDS. This is just the standard struts for the HSE Lux model.
Slap some new bags on them and ready to ride. It’s not a hard job to do. My HSE Lux has the dynamic pack which includes the VDS struts, beau coup bucks.

Yeah that's the plan, the installation process looks fairly simple.
Super simple. Hardest part will be getting the old bag off the bottom seals. Delicate use of a small prybar does it.

What kit did you use for it? Do you have a link by any chance? When I was referring to replacing I was thinking of just swapping out the whole strut at first haha.
Replacing the whole unit is by far the easiest route. No link for bags, but Dunlop make good units for reasonable money. Same with complete struts.
