How fed-up am i! finally got round to getting the air-con filled and although they put it a vacuum and pressure test only to find when i got there is some green fluid leaking out from the front cross member area, so that will be the condenser then!!

true, but having done the 'other' jobs it was next on the to-do list. Still its nice to know that it works other than that. Funny though the place that filled it grumbled about the amount of gas it took

Funny you should say that! I'll give it a go, that said still working today but there are green drips under, checking today it's not the rad so got to be air-con condenser, must be my time for it though, my air pump is dying, took it apart and the cylinder is badly worn on one side! Have ordered new seal and cylinder!
