I was thinking of buying an aftermarket Wood Dash Trim kit for my 2008 Range Rover Sport. Currently it is basically all silver/greyish plastic on the interior so i think a bit of a wood look will spruce it up. I found a pretty affordable kit on Ebay from a seemingly reputable seller( drdashman1). If anyone is interested here is a link to the kit.

Has anyone applied something similar to this ?
Any recommendations or comments?

Either way (the auction description is for a 74-pc FFRR kit but the detail cutout inset says it's a 66-pc RRS kit, so definitely clear it with the manufacturer before bidding), that's an awful lot of wood! If it were going in my car, I would throw away about 80% of that kit right way so as not to turn the interior into an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme... My opinion only, of course. A few strategically placed pieces that match would look very nice, though.
