My Trans ended up blowing while i was driving on a highway because a fluid cooling line popped off and well nowwww i have bought a fresh trans from the dealer the unit is in but i haven't so much as put the key within proximity to the car until i'm sure what needs to occur next. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hopefully someone with experience with this will chime in.

According to Rover Parts:
"When replacing the transmission on this vehicle, vehicle programming is required to complete the installation. This programming can only be done by a Land Rover dealership with the factory service system or by an independent shop with an Autologic Diagnostic System for Land Rover.

Any tips for Transmission mount replacement?

As for the trans mount there aren't any.. Just the mount attached to the transfer case. You can either unbolt and replace the whole thing or you could unbolt and press out the old bushing and press in the new one. But, if you don't have a hydraulic press i suggest a machine shop to do it or just buy the new piece. Best of luck.
