One thing Im super jealous of on the Disco 5 and Velar is the new Activity Key. I've long suspected that there is a way to retrofit this to the RRS, bit haven't seen anything on it.

I came across this vehicle prep kit today. Since the Disco uses the same ICTP system as the 2017 RRS, wouldn't it be possible to make this work somehow on the 17 RRS?

Great question and challenge.

This feature alone almost put me in a Disco this summer instead of my RRS.

Activity key has to be the best new feature for a car in the last decade.

Yes!! As a surfer and skier, I'm always petrified I'm going to lose my key on a deep powder day or in a wipeout in the ocean. Activity key is awesome!

Now we just need someone committed to trying to make it work! I'm assuming it would involve installing the prep kit, getting power to the sensor, and then finding a wy to enable the functionality in the ICTP system. It'd be cool if the system auto sensed it or something.
