Looks like the AC compressor on my Supercharged RR has failed. Was fine on the drive out but when I started the car to drive back I had nothing but warm air.
Checking underneath I see the 4 studs that connect the clutch at the rear to the driving plate at the front have sheard off. Oddly I can still rotate the drive plate. You would think the compressor would be seized to shear off the drive pins? In any case I need to install a new compressor. Rock Auto has quite a few different models listed: Sanden, Nissen, Four Seasons, etc.
Any recommendations? Any particular things to watch for? Would these comperssors come with new O rings for the high and low pressure pipes?
Thanks
