Does your ABS work? Slam on the brakes when its a bit slippery out and see what happens. ABS lights usually mean wheel sensor problems. Mine stays on until I go over 5 MPH which is normal.

I was thinking the same thing. The ABS light normally stays on until the system gets a signal from the wheel sensors at around 5 mph. If yours is staying on without any other alerts, my guess is you have an issue with a wheel sensor.

ABS light sorted out

was a wheel sensor that did not want to play along.

The initial five seconds when the light stays on is fot the computer to learn, and if one does not work will not give you the fault on the LCD
