Hello,

I want to first apologize me for my bad english but i'm from Belgium and normally i speak Dutch :)

Since yesterday i'm the owner of a range rover sport 3.6 V8 off 2007.

Yesterday I tested him 70 miles and everything was fine.

Now I've just started him and after a minute or three I pushed the gas pedal to 3500 rpm.

Then there were some little black/gray/ bleu smoke plumes.

Not so much and small ones.

After I hit the gas pedal five times it was disappeared.

Now I wonder if this is normal.

There is a new engine in the car with 25 000 mile and a new turbo with 20 000 miles.

Thanks:)

Its a diesel - no matter how well designed they will blow a little smoke under load. However the 3.6 does have a bit of history of blowing turbos and lots a smoke is a precursor as they get oil in the turbo.
