I've be having problems with the A/C in my car and wanted to put a question to those who maybe live in a hot climate all year and may be familiar with the P38's A/C issues.

I've had my engine out over 2 months, and up to this point the A/C was working. Everything is back together, so this week I've had the A/C system tested and had to put a new compressor on. The system was then charged with the gas and dye. This afternoon, while changing the engine oil, I noticed that there is A/C dye all over the transmission, leaking from the driver side A/C drain. What is this likely to be? The evaporator?

Bad luck Rich.
Does sound like it could be coming from the area of the evaporator and out the drain holes. Crap if it is man, as virtually the whole dash has to come out

Thought so. As my heater O-Rings are leaking as well, I may as well rip the dash apart and do the lot I suppose.
