Getting to be common practice.
Jeep did it with the new model (JK) Wrangler and everyone was worried too. Totally unfounded though, as they did keep making the Rubicon etc.
All it did for Jeep was increase sales to those that would never want or need true 4WD. More sales is a better thing IMHO.
I would prefer selectable 4WD in my current Rangey for fuel economy and to ease the burdens on the front axle etc. I bet we could get another 1-2 mpg at least if the front axle was free spinning :think:
So a 2wd Land Rover product is nothing to worry about IMHO.

I don't care, Land Rover should follow tradition. Not the rest of the pack.
