Hello, I am new to the site and to working on a range rover. i have sorted out several issues so far with my 93 RR classic LWB with the 4.2, however i need help with this.
all four brakes seem to be hanging. the vehicle drives however when on a lift none of the tires will spin freely. is this normal? if not any ideas of what to check? i have downloaded the RAVE manual and will look in there, just thought i would see if anyone has had the same issue.
Thanks,
Todd

What are you actually doing? Do you have all four wheels off the ground at the same time and the handbrake off and the gearbox in neutral rather than park? Obviously if you jack one wheel only, you won't be able to turn it because of the 4wd.

A friend had it on the lift( all four wheels up ), he had the trans in neutral and thought the 4wheel was in neutral and could not spin the tires by hand. i got it back today, put the trans and 4wheel in neutral and was able to push it, so i guess he not had not fully disengaged the 4wheel drive.
thanks for the reply.
