Thanks for the snap. Looks similar to the Scottorn 6 wheeler in my 'Range Rover The First Generation' book. Whole chapter on custom RRCs, including some very dubious reworkings of the grill and headlights. How about 8 square lamps and Rolls Royce style grill, anyone?

Yes, mainly as fire trucks. Mostly Carmichael 6x6 conversions.

This road-rail RRC was recently stolen in Kent.....
Is it six wheel or ten?

I remember reading an article about that one a few years ago. It actually runs on rail tracks - there are a matching pair of small wheels at the back and they swing round and under the car. I think it also had a matching trailer and was used for some sort of track maintenance.

It was mainly used for weed killing.
The trailer carried two large tanks of chemicals.

I can't explain it entirely, but my first reaction upon seeing this was "That is one of the most beautiful vehicles I have ever seen!"
