Hello,
I have a '88 with a really weak 3.5l motor. So my question is, what is the best way to get more power out of it: are there different 'bolt on' heads that will fit, bigger cam, oversized pistons, or will a larger motor fit without major modifications (ie, changing motor mounts, tranny ect). I have plenty of experience with rebuilding american motors (ford, gm chrysler ect) but am not familiar with british stuff.......thanks, don j

the 3.5 bore is the biggest problem as it shouds the valves so any improvment will be cancelled out by the poor bore size upgrading to a hotwire injection system and a 3.9 4.2 or 4.6 will make a hugh difference.
but if you are on a budget fiting a 3.9 cam over the 3,5 will make for a good motor
