Hey folks,

I have a 2007 RR HSE and am looking to put 22 inch black stormer wheel on my white Rover. Anyone out there have pics of white RR's on black Stormer wheels? I would really, really appreciate any help. I have looked high and low on the net and so far no lock.

I have not seen any, but I'm looking to put the machined face stormers on mine. I think it will look pretty sharp. What I WILL NOT do is put custom chrome wheels on my RR. Too classy a car to bling out.... The black stormers will contrast the white color on your car pretty well, although it will not be my personal color of choice for the wheels. Perhaps if the car was a darker color. But again, you go with what you'll be content with. Good luck man.

Serious question:
You don't consider 22" wheels (which do nothing for ride comfort or off road / snow handling) to be blinging?

Nope! I don't consider that bling; more so when we're talking about exclusively-Range Rover wheels. The 22" stormers perfectly fit the RR HSE/SuperCharged and will not give the slightest hint of bling bling. Besides, it is not the hideous chrome or anything along those lines. Remember, this is a big SUV with the necessary dimensions to absorb 22" wheels seemlessly. Although I appreciate your reservations about big wheels and their effect on the integrity of the ride and so forth, it will maintain it's classy, stock look with the 22" stormers. Perhaps a sharper, sportier look; but hardly blinged out.

Merriam describes Bling as : flashy jewelry worn especially as an indication of wealth; broadly : expensive and ostentatious possessions

As 22" wheels / tires do nothing for handling (actually, quite the reverse) MY opion is they qualify as bling......

Even if they're not chrome
Mr Range Rover,
I think we will agree to disagree on the semantics of what is considered "flashy" and what is not. You made your case very well though; just that I'm not convinvinced..... :naughty: IMHO, the 22" stormers are sportier in their setup and therefore serve a purpose, while your run of the mill 22" or even 20" trashy chrome rims are the Meriam-Webster definition of bling.... I am going ahead with the 22" stormers and 285/40/22 Michelins next spring. For sure! 8-|=

Good for you. Don't let some nay sayer like me put you off. :thumb:
Taking the matter of taste to one side and putting it back in the play Penn , the largest Stormer wheels made for the Range Rovers are 20" so any thing else is an after Market copy so in all liklyhood they will be expensive but of an unknown quality for a vehicle of the Range Rovers weight and you will brake at least one .
