Interesting. When the L405 can reach the level of appointment of the 2013 Ultimate or Earlier Holland and Holland editions it will truly be gorgeous. Sadly actual high end optioning like teak decking, inlaid banding and solid wood trims have yet to be seen in the latest generation. The LWB has some nice appointments at over $175K, but it still doesn't offer anything more than catalogue optioning.

EXACTLY! Some folks didn;t care for it when that was posted. However many felt it very refreshing to see a nice airy cabin and tasteful two tone. The days of blacked out ghetto bombers with drug dealer tinted windows is really getting worn out.

Thanks, Michael ... it was the two tone snapped a few weeks ago, so glad you can't get the rear seat in a bench

I read the article and it says the 2016 Range Rover go on sale in Sept 2015. I wonder if you can put an order in now. Wondering if the HUD system will be standard.

The interesting item that doesn't seem to be getting much mention - the V6 in the HSE is jumping to 380hp, using the engine they're putting in the Sport HST.

The 2016 updates as a whole are minor but more applicable to most buyers:

The doc I saw at my dealer lists both the 340 and the 380HP engines as available

The official PR also still lists the 340HP engine - my post purposely referenced the HSE. And from the way it reads to me, the HSE will be getting the 380HP engine while the base Range Rover will keep the 340HP.
