Hi,

I posted earlier about questions on a 2014 RRS SC I had found. Turns out I found a CPO at a local dealer with 15k less miles and just $7k more - I will most likely sign papers tonight.

It has a factory warranty that ends in 13 months (June 2019), then 12 months additional CPO warranty (June 2020).

They want $5k to extend the warranty for another 24 months (June 2022).

I am thinking of just buying the car without any warranty extensions tonight and then shopping around for an extended third party warranty. Any advice on this?

Huh? Buying a 2015 model year would cost $10k+ more that the 2014 model year... why would I pay $10,000+ for one additional year of warranty?

Am I missing something here? Just for $5,000 I can get TWO additional years - until 2022 for my 2014 model year.
