Gentlemen:
I am considering purchasing a previously owned 2013 Range Rover Sport (several candidates in sight) is there anything that would prevent me from enjoying this vehicle. I have a 2004 RR-HSE which I purchased back in 2014, I have had my share of issues, however, I still like my truck and have learnt that these are issues that either we accept them or buy a Ford.

That been said, I know this is a Jaguar powered vehicle, how is this compare favorable or unfavorable with the BMW engine?? I have done the timing chains service, does the Jaguar engine has the same issues???
Anything that anyone can share it would be appreciated.
Thanks

I own a '13 RRS SC and adore my truck. She has been consistently reliable and is a joy to drive. Smooth, quiet, and brimming with power.

While every copy is unique and can have issues, if you keep up on your maintenance and don't drive like the devil is on your tail, you should be fine.

The '13 copy has an improved timing chain and does not suffer from the issues experiences in previous models.

Couldn't agree more about the comment regarding each individual truck. If I had it to do over I would have held out for a late 2012 or '13. Regardless, our '11 has really been a great truck and the Jaguar power plant doesn't seem to be having the timing chain issue even at 80k miles. I think it's more prevalent in the SC models. Forge ahead!
