Hello, I replaced the CR2032 battery in my spare key fob yesterday and the key is no longer working. I have searched through the forums and see a re-syncing solution for older models, but I am not finding a clear answer for 2010-2012s which have a start/stop ignition. Does anyone know how to re-sync the key? I'm trying to avoid a trip to the stealership.

I’ve replaced the batteries in both of my key fobs twice in the life of my vehicle and have not had any problems with them working after the replacement.

Thanks Norcal. I tried this, but it turned out to be a problem with the way the battery was sitting in the tray of the key. I think it was too loose and the battery was not pressing the terminal with enough pressure. Fortunately, the dealership fixed it for me for free.
