First time posting, but long time lurker.

I have a 2011 SC with ~80k miles and my dealer said my pads are at 7mm all around. The replacement light has NOT come on but I'm hearing a squeal on the rears.

My wife mostly drives this car a couple hundred miles a month around town. Should I proactively replace pads + rotors even though the brake sensor light has not come on or can I wait?

The driver side rear pad is squeeking so I'm looking for recommendations on pads with 2 features:

1. avoid brake squeal
2. low brake dust

Thanks in advance!

We went with the EBC "greenstuff" brakes back in July and they seem to be working very well. Great stopping power, quiet and what little dust they make rinses off with water at the car wash. One of our rear pads had gotten extremely thin...talking paper thin, and I still didn't have to touch the rotors. No need to go replacing them just for grins.

Do you have the model numbers for the EBC?
