Hi, anybody had a whine that appears to come from passenger side footwell (RHD) and starts when the car senses the key and stops at the last stage of progressive shutdown after leaving the car? It is driving us mad but I am trying not to just rip into panel removal until I have some idea what I am looking for.

I noticed there is some kind of electrical noise remaining on shut down, though I am not sure what the location is. I use a window tripod clamp for photography, and am used to a silent Merc once stationary, so would like to know if it stops after a while. Will investigate tomorrow!

Having spent an hour in the footwell removing panels etc the whine is definitely coming from the lower door speaker. Anyone know there the amp is fir this before I start taking the door apart?
